Shayna (Cole) Gier once self-published a book that started life as a NaNoWriMo project — back when that was a whole thing. These days, they’re an agender, polyamorous, autistic person just trying to live the best life they can while escaping into as many fictional worlds as possible. Writing feels like a past life now, and honestly? That’s okay. Cole lives with their husband of 16 years, their partner of 2 years, and a delightfully chaotic 11-year-old son.

I really enjoyed this read! My husband requested that I read this book after he read it, and I'm glad he did.
What really worked for me when it came to this book, was the way that Ryland was writen, so that as he recovered memories, so too did we. Th

This book... is a fascinating read in the way that it is so very repetitive, with hardly any change in topics approached, but as a reader you want to keep reading because the next chapter is going to introduce new things... right?
