I'm Della Pearl and I write cozy mysteries set in the Pacific Northwest.

I love rain, dogs, chocolate, and reading mysteries.

Classic Hollywood movies are a passion, which is how the Matinee Classics Cozy Mystery Series was born.

I'm a Nancy Drew superfan.

With my five kids launched in the world, I write stories and go on beach walks and adventures in the woods with my husband or bff, and often a furry friend on a leash.

Stevie at the Pinecone Theater: A Puzzle

At the Pinecone Theater, it's tradition to introduce each movie with interesting facts. The first film Stevie shows is Casablanca. I challenged AI to put together some pictures. For some reason, it usually gets Humphrey Bogart right, but poor Ingrid Bergman! Either it doesn't resemble her, or it's not even a woman 🤦
