In addition to being a two-time winner of her town’s annual pie contest, Laura J. Mayo is also a fantasy writer. She lives in New Hampshire with her husband, their two children, a dog named Gidget, two ball pythons named Smoky and Yara, and a crested gecko named Pretzel. Unsurprisingly, many of Laura’s other interests are solitary, including reading, sewing, cooking, baking, admiring her air plants, and getting figuratively lost in deep, dark woods.

Laura Mayo answered LG's question: I just finished "How to Survive a Fairy Bargain" and I loved it even more than the first book, which is saying a lot! Will there be a third in the series? Or are you moving on to other creative works? I'm so glad you liked it! Right now there are no plans for a third, but I don't want to say it would never happen. I'm writing some new stuff and can hopefully tell you more soon!

Laura Mayo answered Steve's question: Can "How to Survive a Fairy Bargain" be appreciated without having read "How to Summon a Fairy Godmother"? maybe! I think it would still be fun on its own, but you might miss some nuances from the first book.
