The Daily Muse Has Moved!
Come join me every other Monday at Sizzling Pens, the group blog I share with some of my favorite people in romance.
On the 10th of every month, you can also find me at Blaze Authors, a group blog sponsored by Harlequin that is for Blaze/all Blaze.
And, on a daily basis I hang around with my friends, readers, writers and family on Facebook. If you haven't given Facebook a try, go there now and check it out. You never know who you'll reconnect with!

Do You Facebook?
I have to admit, this blog has taken a steep nose dive since I got myself on Facebook. So much so, that I'm starting to think I might close this one down to focus my efforts on the other two places I blog, Blaze Authors and Sizzling Pens.
I am on Facebook daily and love it. I know I talk to Katie and Liza there. Personally, I like the community atmosphere there as opposed to the blog. On a blog, it's me talking at people. On Facebook, anyone can bring up a topic, and it feels more like a...

Power Reads
I sat down to read this book the other day and ended up finishing it before the night was through. Two of my favorite Blaze authors are Jamie Sobrato and Karen Kendall, neither of which have been writing much for the line lately. So I was excited to have an old favorite back again. And shocked to make it through the whole book in one day.
I can't remember the last book I read in one sitting. Most of Susan Elizabeth Phillips books do that to me. A couple James Patterson. But for the most pa...

Giving Authors A 2nd Chance
I don't remember the first Jennifer Crusie book I read, only that I didn't care for it much. After hearing soooo much hooplah over her books, I might have had exorbitant expectations and picked one that wasn't the best example of her work.
At the time, I'd tossed her off as being not my cup of tea, only to be subjected by more and more praise. She's constantly on the fan lists of readers who share my taste in books, and when I was browsing the Borders aisles the other day, I decided, What t...

I can't help it!
There are two things I can't resist: Books and scrapbooking supplies. Seems no matter how much of them I have, when I'm at the store, I can always talk myself into more.
We went to Borders last night, and despite 3 bookcase shelves full of TBRs I picked up Leslie Parish "Fade To Black", Lisa Scottoline "Ladykiller", James Patterson "You've Been Warned", Jennifer Crusie "Getting Rid of Bradley", Jamie Sobrato "Made You Look" and Victoria Dahl "Start Me Up".
Anyone read these? I'm starting with

Nuthin in Particular
For days, I've been looking at this site thinking, "You need to blog. Come up with something interesting, try being thought-provoking for a change. Think up something besides your yard and Weight Watchers." And every day, I stare blankly and go, "I got nuthin'."
So I'm just going to start writing and see where this goes.
Anne, if you're out there, I've started reading Toni Blake's One Reckless Summer. I'm really enjoying it! I'm only a couple chapters in, but I wanted to thank you for the re

Read The Fine Print!
This is a great recipe website for anyone on Weight Watchers--or really, anyone who just wants some good low cal recipes: http://weight-watchers-points-recipes.blogspot.com/
I love that there's a picture with every recipe. I seem to always cook the ones that have pictures.
And speaking of which, I was perusing an official Weight Watchers cookbook with a friend yesterday. I, of course, flipped directly to the desserts section to find an absolutely delicious looking two-layer carrot cake with cre
