Hailey Bryant started writing at a young age. She wrote short stories for school and for fun as a child, and went on to write her first sapphic fantasy novel, When Embers Fall, at 15. She published it at 18. She is a lesbian who lives in CT with her many reptiles and books.

Hailey is continuing to write sapphic novels featuring queer antagonists. She is currently working on When Embers Rise, the second and final book in the When Embers Fall duology, and a new stand-alone titled Assassins by Night.
