Tanya Rose, a graphic designer and photographer, was born in Victoria, Australia. Residing in the leafy outer suburbs of Melbourne with her family, she recently fulfilled a lifelong dream with the release of her first novel, The Wave. Tanya's background in communication design, visual design, along with her love of reading, inspired her to become a published author. Tanya's style is descriptive, contemporary and fun.

Just a small introduction as I'm new- a new author- new to Goodreads- but a long-time reader and book lover.

I enjoyed this book. Some modern language pulled me from the fantasy/ world, but overall it was an enjoyable read. I felt some scenes could have been improved upon, but I liked it enough that I will read the second instalment on the way. The quicksil ...more
