2023 Reading list.
I've read quite a lot in my life. It took me a long time to discover what reading actually did for me, and what exactly it did to me that made me love it as much as I do. When I'm having a hard time emotionally, I have a hard time sitting down and getting into a story. However, when I do in those moments lose myself in a book, I find that by the time I put the book down, I feel more relaxed than I could have imagined I would. In the year 2023 I branched out of my comfort area of reading somewhat, and I found some of the most phenomenal books I've ever read. I went through and added many of them to my read list. But, for your reading pleasure, here are my favorites:
1. On Earth We're Briefly Gorgeous. Ocean Vuong.
2. It End With Us/It Starts With Us. Colleen Hoover.
