The worst of avoiding a topic is that it can get even less appealing with time, and you become more and more reluctant to deal with it. This isn't so much classic writer's block as procrastination, and is best dealt with the same way.(less)

I've always had a day job or other income source, so I have always written what interests me, and just hoped that it would interest others too.(less)
