Ever since I can remember I’ve had an addiction to books, and from the moment I picked up my first Anne Rice novel, I was hooked on the paranormal. The compelling lure of the paranormal world is irresistible. It is a world where anything and everything is possible, and the boundaries of humanity need not apply. A world in which life spans are measured by centuries and millennia, rather than decades, and a woman can possess inhuman strengths and kick major ass, yet still retain her innate femininity.

Why Vampires? They are the ultimate bad boys.
Women love a dangerous man, and what could be more dangerous than a vampire. Vampires embody everything we crave about the stereotypical bad boy. They exude confidence and sensuality. They are exciting

Do you judge a book by its cover?

I was thinking about this subject the other day when I saw a book called Losing You, Finding Me. I haven’t read the book yet, but I was attracted to the book by the cover. It was hot. It had just been released and barely had a single review, but I’m going to be honest and admit, it didn’t matter to me. I loved the cover and had decided to read the book for that reason alone. I bought it and it

“Wow! She's hot." Morrison commented while gaping lewdly at the body lying supine on the bed.
Insensitive asshole. I took a deep breath to calm my rising anger. "She's dead agent Morrison. I assure you she's very cold." I rebuked sharply.”
P.A. Lupton, Bound by Blood

“The raging burning pain was excruciating, causing me to throw up. I did however manage to remain conscious. Yay me!”

“I love books, by the way, way more than movies. Movies tell you what to think. A good book lets you choose a few thoughts for yourself. Movies show you the pink house. A good book tells you there's a pink house and lets you paint some of the finishing touches, maybe choose the roof style, park your own car out front. My imagination has always topped anything a movie could come up with. Case in point, those darned Harry Potter movies. That was so not what that part-Veela-chick, Fleur Delacour, looked like.”

Jeaniene Frost, One Foot in the Grave

“Hi," he says. I manage to grunt in response, and his smile broadens. "Rude enough for you?"

I nod and give him a reluctant grin. Jeez, any ruder and I'd have to spank the pair of us.”

“A writer never has a vacation. For a writer, life consists of either writing or thinking about writing.”

I don't know why? Here is the link to the homepage for Gotta Have Paranormal Romance with a Kick http://www.goodreads.com/group/show/5...

If you have any trouble joining still it's probably better to contact Bookie--she's much more technically sound than me:) Here is her profile page in case you need to contact her. http://www.goodreads.com/user/show/61...

Haikufall I have been trying to join Gotta Have Paranormal Romance with a Kick, and having trouble joining was wounding if you could let me know what is going on? Thanks and let me know.

Haikufall Just saw that you were talking about the new species sires in another group and I believe the number of the new species character was not 919 (that was the guy who last his mate in lab before the rescue) and 416 was the wolf shifter that was protecting the girl. I was confused about that as well in the book.

SheReadsALot Thanks for friending!

UniquelyMoi ~ BlithelyBookish Thanks for your comments about my blog. There are so many great ones out there, and I feel like mine is kind of boring! LOL! But thanks for following me, I'll check out yours, too!

Zsadist is definitely my favorite, though after Lover Unleashed V is definitely giving him a run for his money!

I sobbed my way through To Command and Collar. What a book!

UniquelyMoi ~ BlithelyBookish Thanks for the friend invite!! I'm always looking forward to chatting up books! I see the WARDen and Cherise Sinclair are a couple of your favorite authors. I'm madly in love with all their heroes!!

I wanted to mention that when someone posts a comment in your profile, if you reply there, they won't get any notification of it. It's a quirky GR thing. If you want to reply, you have to go to that person's profile so they'll get the notification.

Anyway, thanks again for the invite!!

P.A. Lupton I know...we have pictures with the dum guy. I love him. I love Cleveland fans!

message 17: by Tegan

Tegan Yes! Haha. So we'll see what happens today and tomorrow.
Aww, that's amazing!! I would still talk about that too!! He'll get to meet him and get an autograph eventually! Last night there were a TON of foul balls. Most of them came into our section, haha. I was like "I need my mitt!"
And my friend's dad bought us our food, so I didn't have to pay! Which was awesome! :)
Also, the drum guy fascinated me! He hasn't missed a game in 15 years, that's awesome!

message 16: by P.A.

P.A. Lupton LOL. Well we're even then. Good thing.
My boys are so funny when we go to games. Actually my older son has been a baseball fan since he was 5. He could tell you ever stat, player, name of position etc. My husband took him to Cleveland when he was 6 and he was right at the wall behind Grady Sizemore(his fav player) throughout the game he was yelling out the names of their plays(ie suicide squeeze) and heckling the players from the other team so much that at one point right after he heckled a player, Grady turned and smiled at him--it's something he still talks about to this day. Though he still hasn't been able to get his autograph and we try every year.
BTW-hope you enjoyed your hot dog considering it was probably about $7. LOL

message 15: by Tegan

Tegan We won!!! :D You won the first game of the day though, so we're tied for now!!

It was really funny, there was three boys with their dads sitting in front of us and they were 10 & two 7 year olds. I argued with the 7 year olds, haha, they didn't "like" me because I'm a Sox fan. The 10 year old liked me and told me his life story. haha. He even high-fived me when we got a run.

I was one of the few Sox fans, it's harder for people to come from Chicago on a Tuesday night in September. So I yelled as much as I could for one person. lol.

Also, I had a hot dog for you!! :)
