J.R. JOHANSSON is the author of the Night Walkers Series (INSOMNIA, PARANOIA and MANIA) as well as standalone novels, CUT ME FREE, THE ROW and TO THE BONE. Her books have been published in over a dozen languages and more than twenty countries worldwide. She has a B.S. degree in public relations and a background in marketing. She credits her abnormal psychology minor with inspiring many of her characters. She lives in a valley by the mountains where the sun shines 300+ days per year with a hot tub named Valentino.

Thanks for your question! Paranoia will absolutely be translated into Spanish and it will be soon. As I understand it, they expect it to release in Argentina sometime in 2015! I'll post a release date as soon as I know it. :)

Finn is so much fun. He is basically a combination of all my favorite traits in people that I love. I formed him in my head and he isn't based on someone specific that I know, but if I did know him, I'm sure we'd hang out all the time. :) Thank you for reaching out to me and thanks for reading! :)

I just returned home from Mexico! It was a wonderful trip and I loved my visit. I actually studied psychology at my university. I also did some specific research on sleep deprivation and what it did to the body. It was fascinating (and sometimes terrifying) to study.

My inspiration for Insomnia was my own dreams. They're strange and I started wondering what other people would think if they saw my dreams, or what I would think if I saw theirs. It was fun to consider and then the rest of the idea just kind of grew from there.

Last December, I was contacted by the U.S. Embassy in Paraguay and the Asuncion International Book Fair and they invited me to come down for a visit to do some amazing bookish things!

Johansson answered Diana Roth's question: Hello!! :)) I just finished To the bone and I love it I have to confess the beginning it was a little slow to me, but I really love the rest of the book, I feel Harley as a friend and it was nice the way she fought for herself and her cousin. I'm a huge horror/thriller fan and I like the plot twist at the end. And my question is, do you want to do a sequel from this story? Thank you for your time :)) Hi Diana!
