Then last May, I had to work from home and had ample time. I want back to the book, which tires me immensely, but otherwise I would have gone crazy.(less)

Dimitri Sarantis Hi Marisette,
you too have a nice name, very French. In Greece the tradition is to name your daughter/son after the grandmother/grandfather, so I got my grand father's name. The name comes from Saint Dimitrios who was a martyr. I wish you soon have a healthy and pretty son, Dimitri. By the way the female version is Dimitra.

Have a great day,
Dimitri

Marisette Burgess Hi Dimitri,

Thanks for the friendship. Love your name. If I have another son, my husband and I have picked Demitri.

Cheers,

message 19: by George

George The thing I see with your writing, is that you are a more advanced architect of romance fiction than I am, for starters. You have some tendency to make things a little too James Bond perfect, beyond what life really is like, but that's not to say that you are not growing or valid as a writer. Your characters are somewhat cliche, as opposed to being real, live people, with ordinary fallacies and faults, but there are a lot of people who enjoy James Bond, and a lot of people who enjoy the glamour of the Greeks. Your descriptions of the torrid love affair lost my attention, since schmaltz is not my genre, but I am well aware that I need to grow a lot more, in the sense of being able to construct believable characters and plots of fiction of my own. Mostly, I write from personal experience, rather than from a state of precalculation. I would be very interested in learning more about how to write fiction, but I could not, honestly, get thru your story the way it stands.
