Really, Meg? Really?
I know. I suck.
I’m not dead. I’m still working on the last two episodes (which I’ve mooshed into one way-too-long episode so you guys don’t have to pay transfer fees twice.)
Still working too many hours. Got promoted, and while that’s great for the pocketbook, it’s disastrous for doing fun things like finishing this season of Fantasy Heights.
It’s happening, though. Slowly but surely.
So that’s my news. How’s everyone else?

Reports Of My Demise…
Hi, everybody.
Following several inbox proddings, I’m surfacing to post an update.
I’ve got good news, and I’ve got bad news.
Bad news first: I’m averaging sixty hours a week at the day job. This makes me tired, and the writing VEEEEEERY SLOW.
Good news: Once complete, the final two Fantasy Heights episodes will be released together on the same day. The first episode is about 90% complete. The second episode is only about 25%.
I can’t give an estimate of the release date. Just know that I am as impatient for this to be done as you all are. As soon as I know anything more interesting, I will post more news.
Until then, everyone take care, and hang in there.

Instant Regret
Do not—I repeat, DO NOT—introduce your teen-aged son to Scottish Twitter. Getting kind of tired of being called a spooky midget.

ChuchuchuchuChainJazz
Hi, everybody!
You may have noticed some changes around here. Our playground needed a mobile-friendly upgrade. This new layout also suits my crazy schedule. Changes include removing the blog from the front page. New navigation also makes it easier for visitors to reach the highest-traffic info.
More changes will hit the Fantasy Heights page as soon as some kinks get worked out——pun intended, I’m sure. Text changes still need some wrenching to improve readability. I hope to complete the CSS design on Friday (just as soon as I figure out how to monkey with this layout’s CSS).
I did get some emails around Christmastime complaining about the free ebooks page removal. That content disappeared from the navigation because I simply don’t have time to update the files every time Kindle, Nook and other developers tweak something (which is like… every single day, I swear). I apologize for that change, but the ebooks will not return.
If you’ve any requests for further changes, y’all know where to find me.
Have a great week!

Where The Hell…
Aaaaaaaand we’re back.
Many of you know I work for one of the big three shipping companies here in the states. This means I have no life from Thanksgiving through Christmas. And naturally, this also means that as soon as the rush is over, I (and everyone else at work) get sick as hell.
So that’s where I’ve been. Those of you in my inbox waiting on things, I am slowly working my way up the stack. Please know I’m not ignoring you; only trying to carve out time when I can give my undivided attention, and right now, that’s rare as presidential witticisms.
As a side note, probably some of you can relate to this: There is nothing so frustrating as planning a work schedule, only to have to change those plans REPEATEDLY because other people don’t plan ahead.
Can someone please tattoo the word NO on my forehead so I can sometimes remember that’s an option? I swear I need to start channeling Thomas or something. He would never put up with what my employer and family are throwing my way these days…
Anyway, back to the wordmill on Sunday. Wish me luck!

Exciting Day At Home
A picture of the boys in their favorite birder-feeder-spying-zone spot.
Not much to report at the moment; travelling a lot, scrounging hours at the day job. Son’s school play is finally over, so the battle to protect my writing hours should get a whole lot easier this week.
(Am now thinking WHY OH WHY did I say that out loud…)
Hope everyone had a fantastic Halloween!

Sometimes I Worry
Forgive the juvenile humor, but this nearly made me die laughing… Posting so I can find it again.

For Wilson
The pointer has had ENOUGH of all these cat posts.
Here’s his new favorite video:
We have watched this video four times already tonight. The dog in the front seat with its nose pressed against the sun visor for no apparent reason is my new spirit animal.
