Born and raised in South Africa, Vanessa McLean was drawn to reading and writing from a young age. After meeting and marrying the love of her life, they moved to the United States, where she began her first novel, A Fall From Grace. While it took an expensive bet with her daughter to finish the book, it kick-started her love for writing years later. Though she started with drama, her passion lies with fantasy, especially any story with dragons. When she's not working, Vanessa McLean spends her days with her husband and her two Maine Coons, who often obstruct her reading and writing time. ...more
