Zoë Partyka lives in Florida’s Space Coast, where sci-fi meets real life. She has a degree in radio and broadcast and is a local musician, with her only claims to fame being one single stint of working behind the scenes at a Metallica concert. When not dreaming of her next novel, she can be found playing gigs with her band, annoying her husband with pointless questions, or collecting seashells on the beach. She is a former two time duck wrestling champion, one half of a nonexistent comedy duo, and a professional at finding herself in strange situations.

Zoë Partyka answered Goodreads's question: What’s your advice for aspiring writers? Ignore all advice you are given. First and foremost, write for you. Write because you can. Write because without it, you wouldn't be able to breathe. Write poorly and laugh at yourself often. Don't take things too seriously.
