Born in Stuttgart, Germany, in the early seventies, Shawn Harper grew up an army brat, though he is more proud of that now than he was at the time. After graduating high school in Kentucky, he moved to Denver, Colorado, where his greatest accomplishment to date in the Mile High City is surviving the cuisine at Casa Bonita. In addition to being a writer, he is also an amateur photographer and road trip enthusiast.
