Abdul Chaaban nació en El Líbano en 1955. En 1970 emigró a Venezuela, donde completó sus estudios de bachillerato y se graduó en Ingeniería Electrónica en la Universidad Simón Bolívar done obtuvo una Maestría en Ingeniería de Sistemas. Recientemente, obtuvo una Maestría en Administración (Mercadeo) en la Universidad Metropolitana.
Chaaban laboró durante casi 30 años en CANTV (Operador Telecom en Venezuela). Actualmente, ejerce como Director Regional de Desarrollo de Servicios, en una empresa proveedora del sector de Telecomunicaciones. Él ejerció la docencia (a tiempo parcial) en la Universidad Simón Bolívar, tanto a nivel de pregrado como a nivel de postgrado.
