Unapologetically character and relationship-driven writer with underlying paranormal settings and whimsical magic. If you're looking for high action and high fantasy, you won't find that here. I'm a PhD student so expect slightly nerdy MCs!

I'm the author of the "Books of Destinies" duology and I'm working on a new "Vision" collection. The first book, "Through My Brown Eyes" is out now.

You can find more of my short story writings on Reedsy: https://blog.reedsy.com/creative-writ...

New Book, New Collection

Out now: my new novel "Through My Brown Eyes" !!!!

This is part of a three part collection in the works about magic, ancestry, and discovery. The novels can be read as standalones or as a whole collection to catch references and background info. Part 1 is now available, stay tuned for 2 and 3 in the future!

“Yeah, I'm aware," I scoff. "He's only been snooping around in my brain half the year." Oh God, that means he heard all the times I was swooning over him. That's not embarrassing.”
Martha Kowalski, Books of Destinies Vol. 1

“Something inside me dies. I think it is called hope - a little feather drifting in the breeze, staying afloat and dancing until it drops to the ground, trampled under the feet of reality; or maybe it sees that it is fruitless to stick around and flies further on, out of reach and impossible to grasp.”
Martha Kowalski, Books of Destinies Vol. 2

“My heart lies now as a rose, trampled on the ground, leaves limp, petals bleeding a red stain that will never wash off.”
Martha Kowalski, Books of Destinies Vol. 1

“Somewhere. It's a place I can never reach.”

Martha Kowalski, Books of Destinies Vol. 1

“A heart that bleeds instead of beats in thousands of broken bits - pick one up and the sharp shard scrapes your hand; the cut may be gone in the same instant, but you never heal. I never heal.”
