Kathleen Mayes is a classical guitarist and a proud New Jersey resident. She taught classical guitar and music history at Rowan University for over thirty years while playing background music and concerts throughout Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey. She has recorded four CDs, published with Guitar Chamber Music Press, and performed at Carnegie Hall.

Now retired from teaching and the concert stage, she is dedicating her time to writing and having a lot of fun doing it.
