Special Collections and What's Coming Next for the Team...

My Rogues Shifter Series books have been bundled and from 1/15 - 2/15, I'm discounting all three sets: Books 1-3, Books 4-6 and Books 7-9.
(See buttons below)
I'm busy working on ideas for Book 10 - In Demand, and also considering a novella or two featuring Isaiah's early life as well as continuing his story along the same timeline as Jackie's. In other words, you'd find out how he came to be with Lord Kennet and what he was doing when he wasn't with Jackie or in later books, with Charlie. The working title is Demon Rogue.
Also, I must apologize.
My writing has slowed, mostly due to depression and anxiety linked to the stark isolation I've experienced during Covid. I'll be doing my best this year writing as Gayle Parness and also under my Marie Booth pen name.
I thank you again with all my heart for your patience and understanding. Comments are always most appreciated.

Summer Blogging

Dear Rogues and Readers,
Jackie's latest story is turning out to be another hair pulling adventure, but then we know she can handle whatever is thrown her way, right? Charlie too, right?
Even war?
In At Risk war is not only coming, it's arrived.
War between magical creatures doesn't mean magical answers will always be
available to save someone in the nick of time.
It doesn't mean everyone will walk away unscathed.
But Jackie, Garrett and Charlie have never given in to despair, even in the
bleakest of times. That won't change. Hope makes them stronger.
Trust and love and friendship can heal.
The Cuvier Clan will go on, you have my promise.
That's it for now. Back to writing.
Gayle

Getting back on the Blog

Dear Rogues and Readers,
Despite the background of the picture, I have not been hanging out at the pool
since my last blog. I've been working hard. I've also produced two more audiobooks. Just sayin'. You may not recognize all these books because I've spent most of my time working on books by my evil twin, Marie Booth.
She takes over my fingers and forces me to write very spicy contemporary and paranormal romance books and short stories. I swear, No really.
But I haven't been blogging, and I intend to begin again. Unfortunately, or fortunately depending on your taste in fuzzy creatures, you may get a lot of cat pictures, or an occasional rant on the pitfalls of facebook ads, but mostly I'll talk about my stories,
maybe even giving you some fresh content or special scoops.
If you're interested in the books in the picture:
A Stubborn Heart and A Healing Heart are written in the Rogues Shifter World and can be found at all vendors under Gayle Parness.
Stroke and Simmer are hot contemporary books set in San Francisco.

The Worst Ever Anthologies are full of funny and romantic short stories by a group of wonderful authors. My stories are Worst Holiday:"Ringing in the Reefer"
and in Worst Valentine's: "Love Ya Baby"
That's it for today. Back to writing.
Thanks for reading :0)

SPINNING OUT IS LIVE!

Triad Trilogy, it was a hard story for me to write.
Charlie has grown up under my watchful eye,
falling in love, making devastating mistakes,
but also saving the lives of his friends and family
members through hard work, sacrifice and courage.
My daughters told me I should have given Jackie a
daughter to raise instead of a son, but I wanted to
change it up and raise a boy who struggled with his
bloodline, thinking he might become a monster
like his birth father.
But Kennet never had parents like Jackie and Garrett.
Or friends and mentors like Fin, Isaiah and Liam.
Or the integrity and courage to do the right thing.
I hope you enjoy Spinning Out. Charlie will be back in Rogues Shifter Series Book 9.
Thanks for reading :0)

Kids are on the streets of L.A. experimenting with dangerous magic, a powerful witch has sworn to get her revenge, he and his best friend are on the outs and his fae warrior girlfriend is back in town. Can Charlie’s life get any more complicated?
Yes it can.
Tricked by his irritating uncle and imprisoned by a powerful enemy, Charlie must strike a magical bargain, taking him into a once familiar realm, which is still suffering the aftereffects of a corrupt queen’s rule. Elle, a fae female, has refused to return to the Faerie Court because of the treatment she endured under the former queen, Fionna. She's been a guest in Sasha's home for the last few months, and is finally beginning to feel comfortable in this new world—finding herself drawn to the gentle warrior, but not worthy to stand at his side.
Sasha, a vampire with a violent past, is smitten by this sweetly elegant female, but has demons of his own to dispel. When Elle invites him to a magical celebration, he jumps at the chance to spend time with her. But can they heal each other on the Winter Solstice, the longest night of the year?
Gayle here. Thanks for dropping by.
Here's a list of things happening in November that will keep me very busy.
#1 We have lots of leftover candy to eat.
(How many snack-sized snickers did I already eat today? Well, I guess I could have just one more, right?)
#2 We have some local elections coming up. Better check the line up.
#3 There are invitations to Thanksgiving dinners to accept or ignore.
#4 OR there is a huge Thanksgiving feast to plan. (Haven't decided yet)
#5 There are boxes of old Christmas decorations and ornaments to sort through.
#6 There are sales and more sales and even more sales to peruse. (To be honest, I shop online. Saves my feet and causes a lot less stress.)
#7 There are books coming out by some of my favorite authors. Yaaaay! Now all I have to do is find time to read them.
#8 There's the what to do with the leftover turkey conundrum. Turkey omelets?
#9 There's the first time we light the fireplace. Don't you love that night? (I live in Northern California. It hasn't gotten cold yet.)
#10 There's National Novel Writing Month, where my writer friends and I try our best to write 50,000 words in one month while taking care of everything else on this list as well as our daily lives.
#11 And finally there are the three releases I have in November - Winter Solstice Wishes, Falling Out and the audiobook version of Rebirth - which I will celebrate by curling up with a good book, a glass of wine, a turkey omelet and a snack-sized Snickers bar in front of the first fire of the season.
I wish you all a very happy and healthy November. :0)

Falling Out, Winter Solstice Wishes and Rebirth Audiobook
Hi friends & readers,
Thanks for your patience, as I took almost a year to post again. Yikes.
So here's the good news... There's a lot happening in my author life that I hope you'll enjoy. Charlie's second book in the Triad Series, Falling Out, is due to release on November 18th. He's gotten into some terrible trouble with Isaiah and Finvarra, two of the most powerful creatures in my supernatural world, who also happen to be mortal enemies.
On top of that I'm re-releasing a story I wrote for a holiday anthology last year - Winter Solstice Wishes. It's about two characters from my Rogues Shifter Series: Sasha and Elle.
And finally, great progress is being made on the audiobook version of Rebirth, narrated by Reba Buhr, who in my estimation is the perfect Jackie. :0)
I'll keep you up to date on all these projects as the release dates get closer. In the meantime, you can sign up for my newsletter on my website: http://www.gayleparness.com
Happy reading!
