 Looks like I'm not the only one to have enjoyed a summer in Yellowstone National Park.

Man of Steel.  Almost loved it.  If not for endless fight scenes of devastation wrought on communities both large and small, it would have been a home run.  Instead we hold at third.

Angry tree protestor. High fashion is the Manistee National Forest. The North Country Trail winds by boulders and trees.

John Wesley Powell is famed for leading the first expedition into and through the Grand Canyon.  The Civil War veteran's feat was akin to the first moon walk of its day.  None of the explorations members were expected to return alive.  While it was true that Powell was successful in his bid to map the canyon, four of his party were never heard from again.
