Hi, Joe.
I love O'Connor's stories, but her novels
aren't as interesting to me. I like Wise
Blood, but I just don't think it compares
to the stories.
Cheers,
Sam

You have a great reading list.I was fortunate to have lunch with Anthony Abbott,legendary,semi-retired Professor of English at Davidson College, as well as much published author of books of poetry and novels(See Leaving Maggie Hope etc.)He noted that O'Connor ,who I debated doing my Master's thesis on, was among the very finest of American short story writers and one all writers should study.I even liked her novels, though not as much as her short stories.
For what it's worth,
Joe
