Alice Rose McQueen is not just an urban fantasy author but also a singer and magician who often spends her time on tour. Her literary adventure began with a tumor she had to tame, which became a persistent companion, bringing good days and bad. The pain often prevents her from functioning normally, and when she has to lie down and stay still, she writes. Convenient, right?

In her daily life, Alice Rose is surrounded by her two feathery and mischievous companions, Jimmy and Jean-Kevin. These two birds, although a bit too noisy and often intrusive, bring a joyful cacophony to her writing days.
