C. Mathie is a narrative poet and storyteller who blends themes of romance, mystery, and the supernatural into her writing.
Her love of literature began at a very young age, and even resulted in trouble a time or two when she would get caught reading while hiding her book below her desk in the middle of class...
On a day-to-day basis, she spends time working on her photography and editing photos, content creating for social media, and caring for her family. If she finds herself with a spare moment and a hot cup of coffee, she loves to play video games, read, and craft. She currently resides in Idaho with her husband and their four children.

I used to write narrative poetry a lot when I was younger, then I went through some tough situations for a good few years... now I'm writing again and it feels amazing! It's like the dark veil of writers block has, ever so slightly, thinned.(less)

Self-Publishing

Dear Readers,
Self-publishing is hard. I'm still trying to figure out exactly how it all works. Looking up how to do this and how to do that has resulted in so many varying answers that it's difficult to discern which is correct, or at least the most correct. But I will persist! I've also decided on using another formatting platform; I was using KindleCreate, but I've switched to Atticus. So far so Read more of this blog post »

C. Mathie is 8% done with The Knight and the Moth: So far, so good. I’m enjoying the more “old fashioned” writing style.

I loved seeing Auren come into her own a bit more, her mental struggles were understandable and relatable. Her growth is slow going but good once she gets there. However, I feel like Auren and Slade’s relationship is still a bit surface level.. there ...more
