First off, I have two profiles on Goodreads because I wrote my first seven books using my full name, Thomas A. Ryerson, and the last two with the more friendly Tom Ryerson. The only way I could register myself as the author of the last two was to create a Tom Ryerson profile. Honestly, my ego isn't that big that I had to create two profiles!

Just after I was born in 1964, my mother incorrectly wrote my name on the birth record as Thomas Author. My father caught the error, and I was named Thomas Arthur after my grandfather.
