DIRTY MINDS gets a mention on the Guardian and Huffington Post
As part of my research DIRTY MINDS, I volunteered to take part in an orgasm study. Yes, I "self-stimulated to orgasm" as a brain scanner measured blood flow in my brain. That research was highlighted at this year's Society for Neuroscience conference--and I wrote about the experience for the Guardian's Notes and Theories blog: I had an orgasm in an fMRI scanner.
That post was then picked up by the Huffington Post--at this moment, it's one of the lead stories on the AOL homepage. But you can view it here: This Is Your Brain on the Big 'O.'
Orgasm news travels fast, I guess!

Publishers Weekly likes DIRTY MINDS!
I work up this morning to a Google Alert--Publishers Weekly reviewed DIRTY MINDS: HOW OUR BRAINS INFLUENCE LOVE, SEX AND RELATIONSHIPS.
I was thrilled to find that they reviewed the book at all--but I'll be floating for some time after seeing such a great view. I'm especially partial to the line, "Sukel leaves no stone unturned as she delves into the complex, cerebral world of relationships."
Thanks, PW!
