Julian International Lawrence was born in Wilmington, Delaware. He earned a bachelor's degree in English with a concentration in film from the University of Delaware. His career as a Quantitative Systems Analyst sharpened his analytical mind, which he applies to his writing with a focus on introspection and personal growth.

I'd had anxiety attacks before, but not as severe as I…moreI'd begun suffering from frequent anxiety attacks, leaving me depressed and unable to function. I'd had anxiety attacks before, but not as severe as I was. I started writing to self-psychoanalyze myself. The writing was initially in a personal diary format and improved my mental health, but once I began understanding the nature and sources of my pain, I decided to continue writing in a narrative style, which ultimately became my memoir.(less)
