Joe Lansdale is a hero of mine and I've been in awe with how seamlessly he's managed to meld them both. I figured it was time I got off my keister and got to work spinning my own yarn of cowboys and terror. (less)

Cover Reveal and Release Date for SHADOW OF THE MOTHMAN!

I finally did it! I tackled what I consider to be the most fascinating and perplexing cryptid of them all, the Mothman! The story of the Mothman’s year-long presence in Point Pleasant, West Virginia is one of the strangest moments in US history. I’ve wanted to write a Mothman book over the past 15 years, but I could never find the right story…until now.

We have a release date of December 15th, jus

"Hunter Shea (The King of Cryptids, IMHO) has added a terrific novel to Mothman lore with "Shadow of the Mothman". Shea has created a story that ties the Silver Bridge disaster from the late 1960s to a 1990s town in Massachusetts.

“Do not let your fire go out, spark by irreplaceable spark in the hopeless swamps of the not-quite, the not-yet, and the not-at-all. Do not let the hero in your soul perish in lonely frustration for the life you deserved and have never been able to reach. The world you desire can be won. It exists.. it is real.. it is possible.. it's yours.”
Ayn Rand, Atlas Shrugged

“There is no friend as loyal as a book.”
