Veronica Castillo is a middle-aged educator who grew up in California loving books and history, and existing in her dream world. Many of her stories are inspired by history and her family’s roots in Mexico, Texas, and Arizona. She didn’t decide to become a writer until the stories in her head became too intense to ignore.

While she attempts to put her dream world onto pages, she resides in the Midwest with her husband, sons, cats, and an adorable dog. She is a ‘sometimes artist’, enjoys playing with yarn and needles, and you may catch her on weekend mornings spinning wool on an antique spinning wheel. Veronica will always be a California girl and one day, she will return to the redwoods and rocky coasts of her youth.
