Where Secrets End Excerpt from Chapter One...
5 more days until Release Day! 🎉
Excerpt from Chapter One...
Nash
The rugged rocks below extended like sharp daggers. Nash Mitchell pressed the toes of his climbing shoes against the mountain’s granite wall, gripped a hold with one hand, and stretched up for a pocket with the other. His fingertips found a gap in the stone. He inhaled a calming breath. One wrong move at ten thousand feet would be his last.
He lifted his leg and tested the surface. Whew. It was strong enough to hold. He pressed up and reached the summit in a controlled move.
As he sucked in the thin mountain air, his chest heaved. He’d made it up Goat Perch in record time. Now, the wind howled in defiance of the natural beauty.
Fierce gusts slapped his skin. He tugged on his gloves and zipped up his jacket. Snowflakes fell from a darkening sky.

Where Secrets End Release Day 9.23.25!
Where Secrets End Just 6 more days! 🎉 One man’s obsession. One woman’s past. One chance to survive.
Excerpt from Chapter One...
Reese
This mountain felt like home. Solitude, nature, and calm.
She jolted. A twig snapped. The undergrowth rustled behind her.
Her gaze darted in each direction for signs of movement.
It’s nothing.
Tiny bumps rose on her arms, but she ignored an internal quiver, swung open the door, and unlocked the console. Her fingers hovered over the gun. She slid them past it for the binoculars instead, then scanned the area.
Each steady step guided her toward the sound until she stood at a gurgling creek. Crows squawked and scattered from one tree to another, pine cones thudding onto the forest floor.
The tension in her shoulders lessened. Most hikers arrived in late June after the snow had melted, prepared to face the mountain’s unpredictable weather and challenging terrain. The sound was probably a deer on its way to the creek.
She opened the van’s back door and caught her tripod before it could tumble onto the ground. Thankfully, her camera remained secure. She stored the tripod, snagged a chair and a water, and plopped down near the firepit.
Nothing to fear.
She settled back, sipped a drink, and relaxed.
A fast-moving ATV roared near the creek. Her neck hairs prickled.
The engine rumble grew softer, then silent.
An irrational fear she kept hidden inside gnawed its escape, entered her mind, and prowled.
