It goes almost without saying that it is deeply tragic for refugees from a war-torn country to feel the need to travel abroad to find security and safety.

It seems that most of the Syriza party, which won an election because it was anti-austerity, pro-nationalisation and wanted to ensure the health and welfare of the people, have humiliatingly caved into the leaders of the Eurozone and international financial institutions (see my last two blogs).

These financial institutions are entirely undemocratic and wish to create a world of laissez-faire economics and unadulterated capitalism.

Although it is not anarchism and ecology, I'm pleased that most of the people of Greece according to their recent referendum are ready to stand up against the leaders of the Eurozone.
