The Hidden Architectural Genius Of The Medieval Castle
I don’t know about you, but I find historical documentaries like this enthralling! There’s always a castle or mansion in my stories. I find it absolutely astounding that peoples were able to build such edifices without modern power tools and machinery – and most have withstood the test of time! That can’t be said for a lot of homes built in the 20th century.

Utterly Forlorn Fire Truck
Utterly Forlorn Fire Truck – We drove past this poor relic for many years on our way to a favorite small town for amazing Chinese food and great deals on meat at the store next door. On the way home from an abandoned house photo shoot, we finally stopped. I love these images and I’m so glad we got them. The next time we drove by that way, the utterly forlorn fire truck was gone! A local nursery hauled it down to their place and it now sits out front with lovely greenery growing out of its rusty ...

Sadly, Utterly Abandoned Motel Sign?
Sadly, Utterly Abandoned Motel Sign? – The abandoned blog is back! The past 2 years have been extremely tough. I’m sure it’s not been a cakewalk for most of y’all either. I closed my websites with the intention of devoting all my waking hours to crafting and making the festival rounds with my goods, but being physically handicapped makes that kind of work impossible. Not only that, but my love of the written word and sharing wonderful foods crowded back in. I’m still a crafter and put on that ha...

Not only that, but my love of the written word and sharing wonderful foods crowded back in. I’m still a crafter and put on that hat when a cool idea must be executed, so maybe from time to time I’l...

Great Things Are Still Happening!
Thankfully, artists are still creating their art to help keep us sane in these trying times. Music, movies, tv shows, video games, funny/thought-provoking/inspirational memes entertain us for hours without end while were confined to our homes. And for book-lovers, new novels are being published every single day! Which brings me to the re-introduction of An Unconventional Family by Roberta Bombonato and the sequel An Unbreakable Family! Now available on Amazon! Both are part of The Family Tree...

A Few Gold Nuggets to Share

There really isn’t enough time in the day to do everything that needs doing. Here’s a small sampling of what’s on my agenda for the next several weeks. Bonus derelict images in this newsletter so keep scrolling!
