Instead of verifying or trusting sources, forget about where you’re hearing what you’re hearing and ask instead:

“Does what I’m hearing make sense with the last thing I heard?”

And then do that every time you hear something.

Do you do that? How often? Every time?

If you do keep this up, you are practicing the art of non-contradiction.
