I was born and raised along the East Coast, and I enjoyed a wonderful childhood. My mother inspired my love for reading and was always willing to indulge my desire for more books. I fell in love with Tolkien and Lewis when I was seven, and discovered Salvatore, Pratchett, McKinley, and others along the way.

It was not until I was in my final years of high school and early years of college that I realized just how much I loved writing. Thanks to my friends and family, I delved into fiction and I have never looked back. With a degree in writing and two novels under my belt, I am currently working on re-writing my works and completing my series. I am still inspired and encouraged by my friends and family, especially my husband, daughter, and b

I have two more large-scale series I plan to start once I finish Land of Esrail: one will be a quartet, focused on younger readers and likely of smaller length, and the other project will be at least three books. Both will be set in brand new worlds that I have created over the last few years.
I am also planning on writing a series with my husband. It was originally going to be a standalone book, but we changed our minds after we realized how much work we had put into building the world.(less)

I realize it was not written that long ago, but I was very young and eager to get my book out there, and I rushed far too much. My writing had yet to mature and a lot of great ideas were ruined because I did not want to wait.

Now that I have been writing for over ten years (and have completed my degree), I look back and see so many mistakes, and not just my grammar. Nerissa's story means so much to me, that I cannot bear to let my youthful naiveté hold me back. Rather than continue my series with my current writing style, I decided to return to my roots and start the journey over from the beginning.(less)

Thank you, Christine. All these years, you have never stopped encouraging me, and you still inspire me. What I did to deserve you, I will never know, but I am constantly thankful for you.

I love you.
