The Lottery Dream
Someone won the Mega Millions Lottery this week. $172 million. I wasn't me. :)
Only my character in "The Ex Lottery" was that lucky.
What would you do with millions? Would you be practical or blow the money on a wild dream? Is that dream a story waiting to be told? It's amazing how many of us are storytellers when we let something as simple as a piece of paper with random numbers spark our imagination. I like to think that the losing lottery ticket I bought that sparked Tory's story in "The Ex Lottery" was worth every penny.
Well, if one of my readers won, enjoy your dream—and maybe, just maybe, you should write your story.

Chatelaine Contemporary Romance Award Winner
THE EX LOTTERY won First Place in Contemporary Romance in the CHATELAINE AWARDS for Women’s Fiction and Romance Novels, a division of Chanticleer Blue Ribbon Writing Competitions. To celebrate, I'll be attending the Chanticleer Authors Conference & Awards Banquet in Bellingham, Washington. What a beautiful location for a conference. Can't wait. Maybe I'll see you there.
