Joseph P. Fisher is the co-editor of the collection The Politics of Post-9/11 Music: Sound Trauma, and the Music Industry in the Time of Terror. Joe works as Executive Director of the Academic Resource Center at Georgetown University. His research interests include American literary and cultural studies, popular music studies, and disability theory—particularly within the context of athletics. Strange Circumstances

At some point in 2021, I grabbed a copy of Wilkie Collins' The Woman in White from the communal bookshare library in my building's lobby. Someone, it seemed, had unloaded a ton of quality literature that included volumes from Collins to Faulkner to Virginia Woolf. I grabbed all of that stuff and have been steadily reading it over the past two years.
