Having spent years submerged in reports and spreadsheets, Alex Dabrotta finally made his great escape from corporate towers.

This may (or may not) have had any connection with his uncontrollable slipping into rhyming in the most inappropriate situations, occasionally exacerbated by doodling caricatures of colleagues, instead of focusing on the meeting agenda.

Since waving goodbye to white shirt with a tie (apologies for the rhyming again, it is a persistent condition and seems to be getting worse with time), Alex has put his abilities to better use. He writes and illustrates silly, funny books for a much more appreciative audience, and no longer gets strange looks from HR and management.

He lives in London.

“The real reason why you need to be nice to neighbors:

'Hey, hey!', said Mister Postman.
'I see that you are neighbors,
And neighbors should not argue,
There’s better things to do.'
'It’s good to know your neighbors.
They can be very useful:
One day you'll get delivery,
And they will sign for you!”
