Dan Purkey is the President of The Open Door Group, a firm that specializes in helping management move entire organizations to achieve results not thought possible. Dan accomplishes this through speaking engagements, his management books, novels, coaching, and consulting. The foundation for his success is found in teaching organizations and people about effective communication. He has 30+ years of experience in business working at the executive level in Operations and HR with and for companies as large as Fortune 50 and as small as 15 employees.

He’s seen it all and fixed most of it. He has a somewhat unique combination of sales, operations, HR, and regulatory experience, with a focus on organizational operations—those inter- and intra-depa

I'm the master of the fate of my characters and can make up whatever I think fits the situation. As I said in the opening chapter of Trackers, "It’s my future. Why don’t you come along?"

For the management books, I like writing things that I know will be useful to people, if they choose to use the advice. At my core, I'm a teacher.(less)

She's not without considerable resources still. Jack becomes the hunted.

The Trackers sequel is taking a backseat to The Realm of Squatch, though. As I write this, I'm about halfway through and am excited to finish it. It's the most fun writing I've had so far, since I get to make up a whole sasquatch society, how they live their daily lives, and how they (mostly) stay hidden from humans. The main character is Eo who is captured by humans. She interacts with a late-teens human boy who works to free her.(less)

Worst edited book I've ever read.

There must be 100 - 200 typos, plus inconsistent scene details. I only finished it to find all of the typos. Really sloppy. The author should get a real editor and republish the book.
