This was a great third book in the Ly-Lan series, with a focus on patience, hope, and timing you can't control. Ly-Lan as a character is excitable and passionate and kind, and makes her stories feel more like an adventure than a lesson.

This book was a riot. Beyond silly.

Forget the flighty bear, the owl is the with the one with the main character energy doing all the work (and the one exhausted in the end). The kids will laugh, but you know deep down who this book is really for.
