Swift Retribution Update

243 pages of the 3rd draft completed, and Chapter 11 next on the 4th draft, which I printed and read aloud to catch awkward phrasing, missed words, and any number of other small errors that slip past any writer. The deadline for completion of this work-in-progress got moved up 2 weeks due to the availability of the bookstore for joint launches with fellow Author, Mollie Hunt.

I have to tell myself I can do this, and then make sure I get enough uninterrupted writing time. Lots of other distractions, like cover design, writing the back blurb, publicizing the book launch and 2 other events in October.

And making plum jam, so the bounty from my tree doesn't go to waste. I'll thank myself throughout the winter months that I've accomplished everything on my To-Do list. Right now, it's all a bit overwhelming if I don't take breaks and give myself pep talks. I also tell myself I wanted this, and then the pep talk works very well.
