Lacy Fewer is an award-winning author from Dublin, Ireland. A graduate of University College Dublin, she is currently pursuing an MA in Creative Writing. Yankeeland, her debut novel, was inspired by the discovery of her grandaunt's letters. Her work explores the quiet endurance and emotional nuance of Irish life—how feelings are often expressed through story rather than confrontation. She lives in Meath with her husband and children.

As some light a candle my pilgrimage is to the bookstore. The touch, the feel, the scent of a new book inviting me into its world. In those moments time stands still.
