Hands down, it has to be Elizabeth Bennet and Fitzwilliam Darcy. I have loved these two ever since I first read PRIDE AND PREJUDICE in high school.

The simple fact that Mr. Darcy ends up with a smart, stubborn, and strong woman at the end just always appealed to me. Maybe it is because I see myself in Lizzy or maybe it is just because path that lead these two together. Who knows! They are (and forever will be) my favorite fictional couple.(less)

If that doesn't work, I put on some music and draw. There is something about the act of drawing that completely calms me. Finally, if that doesn't work, I walk away. I do something for myself that has nothing to do with the book. I will bake, clean, re-organize my bookshelves, paint my nails, or read a book. By stepping back and not thinking about the story, always sparks something down the line whether it be an hour or a day. (less)
