Alex Darkfell writes myth-inspired fiction that blends psychological horror, folklore, and fantasy, always with a strong human element at its heart. He lives in Wiltshire, England, just ten minutes from Stonehenge. His debut anthology Midnight and Other Short Stories was released in 2024, with his follow-up collection Epiphany and More released in October 2025.

Alex also writes a free, monthly serialised pirate-themed fantasy saga "The Book of Morag Mayes" via his website and Substack.
