Lady From Day in Paperback

I recently released Lady From Day in trade paperback ($12.99 from Amazon, $11.99 signed from me, $8 from the publisher to you) in December. Now I'm hosting a giveaway (2 copies) for it that will end January 31.

In the meantime, if you've already managed to either read or procure the book, I have another surprise for you.

I have uploaded an ARC excerpt of Lunamae which I will release in the coming months (eBook initially and then print).

Lunamae is written at a bit higher level, as it was written from the POV of Muirenn, who by the end is much older than Lia (from Lady From Day)

Check out the excerpt link from here:

Out of Time Now Available

Out of Time by April Sadowski

This is now available on Smashwords and Kindle for $.99. I intentionally set the price lower as it is a novella and a little shorter than my other work. Also, I hope I'll be able to get a more sizable readership.

For the month of July, it is available for FREE at Smashwords as part of their summer sale. Please take advantage of this great deal.

Lady From Day iBook Edition

Lady From Day on iBooks

My book, Lady From Day, is finally available on iBooks. It's the Smashwords edition (so it'll be populated on many more venues eventually as well). I'm so excited because the .ePub version reads very nicely.

Lady From Day Editions

Once my Kindle Exclusive commitment is done (March 16), I will be releasing Lady From Day as an ePub on Smashwords (which will mean distribution on Kobo, Nook, Apple, Sony, and more) and Goodreads. I will also be lowering the cost. On Amazon it will sell for $4.99 and on all other formats, $5.99 (Amazon Kindle has to be the lowest cost option online to be published there).

Why I made Lady From Day available

Lady From Day by April Sadowski When I originally finished Lady From Day, I had absolutely no intention of publishing it directly myself. A year later I started on my first NaNo novel, which (as it was easier) was built on the world of Orinda (the second “tale”). I had considered self-publishing Lady From Day at that point, as The Great Marriage of Lunamae was not as long and would be more easily picked up for the YA market.

Then The Cycle came along, and I was completely in love with it and knew I must try and get an agent for it (still working on that, by the way). After The Cycle, I knew Lady From Day should be my first attempt at a self-publish.

Now, the year after being finished with writing The Cycle, I decided to publish Lady From Day for Kindle. It’s now available in the Kindle store. I have a hope that those who read it will listen to it (the audio drama is currently available) and vice-versa. It’s a good story, and a cute story, but one that is rather long. It’s wholesome too, which is becoming a short supply with the rampage of teen vampire flick novels, heavily steeped in sexual attraction (and not much else).
