Ted Mahsun is an award-winning science fiction author who writes comfortably in both Malay and English. In 2017, he was awarded both the 3rd and Consolation prizes in the prestigious biannual Malaysian science fiction novel-writing competition, Sayembara Novel Fiksyen Sains & Teknologi UTM-Utusan. His book reviews have been published in The Star, and his fiction included in Australia's Griffith Review as well as in various Malaysian anthologies. He was co-editor of the 2016 and 2017 editions of Little Basket, a literary journal of new writing, and he also runs a science fiction resource website for Malay language writers at penasaifai.com.
