Post-publication changes, anybody?

One of the things that I've discovered about writing is that the job is never quite done. Aside from proof-reading errors - the bane of my life - there are always last minute changes.

For example, in my recently self-published legal thriller Degree of Guilt I realised that the print size on the hardback was too small, so I had to go through it chapter by chapter (KindleCreate is like that!) and increase the size of the print.

This was something that my second cousin Asher would call "a pain in the reverend Nadabaningi". But it wasn't the only problem. I realised also that the first part of the epilogue, should in fact be the penultimate chapter. Whilst the penultimate chapter should be part of the epilogue. And that change had to be made three times: in the hardback, paperback and Kindle editions.

But it had to be done!

Decisions, decisions.

Well anyway, I made the changes and they are all live on Amazon, including the American edition.

Meanwhile, I have just reviewed Rapid Eye Movement a brilliant psychological thriller-romance by the amazing Amanda Sheridan. I've read the second book in the serie as well: also loved it. Two more to go. No three. There's also one about the collie. Plenty to catch up. So, must rush...

Talk to you again, soon... promise!
