How shall I put this? Okay, straightforward should do. As is made clear in the dedication to Psalm of the Killer Whales, I'm a man!!! Suddenly, I feel like Jack Lemmon at the end of Some Like It Hot.

Anonymity, of course, is the reason why I chose to use a pen name. But why a female one? At first, such certainly wasn’t the plan. However, the male names that I came up with, just didn't sound right; and then I had an idea which proved impossible to get rid of. Why not call myself Anne-Marie Neil?

The pen name was made up from names of my brother and sister - both of whom died as babies. So the pen name became a way of remembering them; and I think it looks good on book covers, too.

2018 Book Details

As promised, here's an update about my fourteenth novel.

Its title is The Reindeer Police; and the Kindle edition is now available for preorder worldwide on Amazon, with a price based on $5.99 U.S. dollars.

Release date is set for December 24th - when I shall also be publishing the paperback edition of the book.
