Until recently, Andy spent his career pitching innovative ideas to prospective clients in marketing, advertising and technology. One of his ideas resulted in a stuntman diving 100 feet off a government building. Another campaign led to a question being raised in the house of commons. The high point was becoming one of the first employees in a start-up technology company that was bought five years later by Google.
He lives in France with his wife. They raised their family In France, Germany and the UK. They often head to the Cote Sauvage where Andy loves to bodyboard. Did the Vikings attack Brillac, my home village?

We had lived in Brillac on and off for over twenty years and returned to France in 2016. I stumbled across a map that show the Vikings attacked the village where I live with my wife. It showed the attack took place in 852. I was curious because I had never heard any Brillac locals talking about a Viking attack. In 2019, when we were locked down, I decided to check it out.

This a fascinating and informative book. His insights informed my novel. I hope this added a layer of authenticity to the magic I described.
