The Phantom Pilot
Hello! This is my first published novella, though I've published a few short stories through the years.
This novella is about a boy who sees a small plane crash in the field behind his house. But when the pilot appears behind him, he suspects something isn't right. When the guy appears in his room later, he knows for certain he's found The Phantom Pilot.
A few days later he spots a classmate enter the local haunted house, alone. So he surmises that she must be pretty brave. That's when he enlists her help in hopes of ridding himself of his new roommate, the phantom pilot.
You can read this little book in one or two sittings, so I've been told. But the next one in The Phantom series will be longer. It will be called The Phantom Student, and it will be out around Halloween. Until then, happy haunting...I mean, reading!
By the way, if you would like to check out a free short story or two, go to www.annswann.blogspot.com

Read a Blurb
No-nonsense-Macky pulled the website up on the computer, tapped a few keys on the order site, and typed in the number six. Then she stood aside so Laynie could input the credit card information, and within minutes a delivery date had been promised.
“Thank you, Mack. That was easy.”
The tall girl said, “You realize you ordered an extra one, right?”
Before she could reply, the bell over the front door jingled, and a deep voice said, “I think she ordered the extra one for me.”
Laynie glanced over her shoulder to see Trace Walker filling the doorway. His ebony hair was shorter than the last time she’d seen him, but if anything, his shoulders were even broader.
