Wren Avery is the author of The Child She Left Behind, a finalist in the 2025 American Fiction Awards- Psychological Thriller.

Stories have always been my escape, my way of making sense of the world. As a writer, I love crafting stories with high stakes, deep emotions, and unforgettable characters. My debut novel, The Child She Left Behind, blends suspense with heart, exploring resilience, love, and survival.

When I’m not writing, you can find me reading,

Large print online!

The Child She Left Behind: Large Print Edition

As a senior it has become noticeably harder to read a regular paperback. I have some arthritis in my hands and the lighter smaller print of some books had me switching to my Kindle.

This Large Print Edition is a slightly wider book and the margin was adjusted so it doesn 't disappear into the spine. So much easier to hold and read!
