Here’s a quick overview of myself for those around the world who may not know me.

I want to start by expressing my gratitude to each of you for supporting our inaugural project, Geli’s Coloring Book. I feel privileged to have you all join me on this vibrant journey.

My name is GELAREH ASTARAEE, and I am proud to be Persian-Iranian, having grown up in one of the most beautiful countries in the world: the United Arab Emirates, specifically Dubai. I am grateful for the formative years I've spent here, thanks to the leaders of the UAE who have fostered such magnificent growth in the country.

To share a little about my background, I began my professional journey after graduating with a BFA in Fine Art in 2010. I have worked as a professional artist Here’s a quick overview of myself for those around the world who may not know me.

My name is GELAREH ASTARAEE, and I am proud to be Persian-Iranian, having grown up in one of the most beautiful countries in the world: the United Arab Emirates, specifically Dubai. I am grateful for the formative years I've spent here, thanks to the leaders of the UAE who have fostered such magnificent growth in the country.

To share a little about my background, I began my professional journey after graduating with a BFA in Fine Art in 2010. I have worked as a professional artist, focusing on painting and cultural research in the arts, with 11 years of experience. Throughout my artistic journey, I have had the privilege of meeting and collaborating with many renowned Persian artists and well-known creative designers from the fashion industry. My experiences with various fashion brands in 2019 inspired me to expand my artistic knowledge into the realm of fashion, leading me to study shoe design. This adventure in shoe design was one of the most enriching experiences of my life, especially as I observed the fashion industry’s shift towards eco-friendliness starting in 2019. This motivated me to pursue further studies, and I established my own company focused on creating limited edition, 100% eco-friendly products with an elegant flair, drawing from my daily fashion market studies. Like many people across this magnificent planet, I faced numerous challenges leading up to the pandemic, during it, and in the post-pandemic world with my business. I realized that I needed to pause all my initiatives given the difficult times we faced globally. I started to design kits for sports with a 100% eco-friendly concept, but unfortunately, that too faced similar challenges as my shoe project. In 2022, I pivoted my company to provide design services, offering solutions for product designs through digital arts. As we move forward into a technologically advanced era, art and digital arts play crucial roles in this transformation. Consequently, I have continued my education in business and digital-tech design, successfully completing 58 online certifications along the way.

With this extensive background and experiences, I have dedicated my first design project to children all over our beautiful planet. I have many additional design projects awaiting the right time to launch as the world stabilizes, including exciting shoe and sports designs.

As a former artist and current Creative Designer, my message to anyone reading this is to allow colors to fill your heart and embrace the essence of our shared humanity. ...more
